COVID-19 Updates

During this pandemic situation, it is important for us to ensure the safety of our passengers, our drivers and our staff. We have been working around the clock to get tourism moving again and to ensure that at all times we are doing all we can to protect our travellers, our staff and our driving / airport teams.

Please see below a summary of the new procedures that have been put in place:

  • Face masks are mandatory for all passengers. Drivers will not carry customers if they are not wearing face masks and/or are showing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Drivers will wear masks at all times and washing their hands / self-sanitising thoroughly in between rides.
  • No one to sit in the front passenger seat at any time.
  • Individual Passengers are advised to sit diagonally from the driver in the rear left back seat.
  • Driver will wipe external and internal door handles after every trip.
  • Drivers are keeping face to face conversations and proximity and engagement to a minimum during rides.
  • Drivers are not able to assist with luggage unless this is requested specifically for travellers with limited strength / mobility and in these situations gloves will be worn. Please do not be offended if drivers do not immediately reach for your bags, it is for yours and their safety. If you need physical assistance, please request it.
  • We are encouraging card payments to ensure minimum direct contact
  • If Aircon and ventilation are requested they will be set to circulate external virus free air not internal air.
  • Drivers must stay at home if they are symptomatic.
  • Passengers must stay at home if they are symptomatic.

Vehicle sanitisation:

We have implemented significant cleaning measures for all our vehicles, consisting of daily cleaning of the various areas of the vehicle considered to be critical as well as monthly "deep cleans" with long term protective solutions provided by our partners Evagreen.

The critical areas, which involve increased disinfection, are as follows:

  • A thorough daily clean of the steering wheel, dashboard, controls, entry and exit handles will be carried out.
  • In between each ride, a thorough cleaning will be carried out of all the elements in the passenger areas such as handles, bars, armrests, screens, buttons and any other areas receiving regular passenger contact.
  • On a monthly basis our fleet of 300 vehicles are misted and deep cleaned using our partner Evagreen solutions Resonance technologies which provide long term anti-microbial protection. These solutions are provided to our entire fleet at our Heathrow and Clapton bases.
